IEEE CIS STUDENT BRANCH

Computational Intelligence Society provides advancing nature-inspired computational paradigms in science and engineering.
The IEEE CIS Student Branch Chapter at GRIET was established on April 8th, 2022, with the aim of empowering students through a series of engaging events. Since its inception, the CIS body has successfully organized twelve events, comprising both technical and non-technical activities. These events have served as invaluable platforms for students to expand their skills and knowledge in various domains associated with Computational Intelligence.
CIS has organized several noteworthy events, including a hackathon on menstrual waste management, industrial visit for students, and interactive coding quizzes like Code Estate, Code Mending, and Concoct. In addition, we also conducted seminars on topics such as Figma, design thinking, and creating a clear career vision , career compass. Recently, CIS has collaborated with the IEEE Hyderabad section and department of CSE JNTUH section to organize a seminar with Professor Jacek M. Zurada on the topic “Inside the Black Box” at JNTU Hyderabad.
